I don’t think it’s a crazy new trend so I don’t think I wil worry about it. Chances are someone who is against her FI going to a strip club, is highly unlikely to strip herself.

ETA I get that this is a joke. Strip clubs just aren’t one of my hangups.

I asked my FI this same question when he mentioned that he might have strippers at his party. He told me he would not be happy at all if I stripped for someone other than him. Fortunately at that point he realized it was a double standard. I never would have done it but I was just trying to get a point across.

@julies1949:  ……. I think it’s supposed to be a joke girl XD XD XD

Yeah that double standard just pissed me off.

I wouldn’t do it, but if FI was hypocritical like that, I’d totally let him believe I’m doing that.

“Oh I’m not crazy about it but the girls really want to do it. Peer pressure and all. You know how it is.”

@MsMelodyBee:  Oh PLEASE. Is that really how it works? Your bachelor party is suppose to be about YOU, not an excuse for your friends to do what they want. The hell? Is he so damn powerless? Maybe he needs new friends??

ETA: Maybe if he brings it up again about how he can’t do anything about it, be like, “Well X really wants to have a fun night of drinking and robbing a bank. I kinda don’t want to do it but ‘well I can’t stop the girls from planning it that way.’” LOL see what kind of reaction you get from that!!

@MsMelodyBee:  Yeah it seems l=sort of like an excuse. “Oh, I’m not interested in the strippers my friends are. But I am okay with them getting strippers.”

People can be so clueless. It seems on the bee that so many guys think their ladies will put up with an excuse like that. I personally am totally against strippers for a bachelorette or bachelor party, luckily my fiance thinks they are gross (sorry to any would be strippers on the bee. My FI’s words and I know you just trying to make dat cash so no hating.)

I think you posed a good question to him, he should realize that what your saying is valid and either own up to wanting to strippers for himself or telling his friends to be more creative.

@MsMelodyBee: If anything, I would point out to them that they’re single, and if they REALLY want strippers, hell they can go anytime. Wednesday afternoon.

It’s not fair to him. I’m sure I’ve seen plenty of bees post on here that they didn’t like their bachelorette party because someone else took over and didn’t bother with what the bride wanted to do.

@MsMelodyBee:  HOT LATINA BLOOD

lols. Yeah, you may have to risk seemingly like a crazy b**** (to them at least) but youcould probably bring it up while everyone is there that wayyour fiance can at least back you up instead of standing up to them alone

@MsMelodyBee:  Lol yes he can! I mentioned something to one of the groomsmen who we are both good friends with when he told me he couldn’t control their plans. Maybe that makes me a little pushy but I just did not want him to have a stripper rubbing herself on him!
