So I am torn in between choosing Memphis, TN for my bachelorette party or Dallas, TX. Both are roughly about the same distance from where I live. Dallas is only about 20 more miles. I have been to Memphis many times and Beale has a nice vibe, but I have never been to Dallas and also thought that would be fun. I am 27years old and just want to go out in celebrate with my girls! There will be no more than 5-6 of us traveling together. Any ideas & which city would you choose?
Thank you for your suggestions , ladies! 🙂

I’ve been to Memphis, but it’s been awhile and I don’t remember much about it. I don’t live too far from Dallas. If it were me, I’d say go to the one that you’ve never been to before, just because you’ve never been there 🙂
Dallas is also the twin city to Fort Worth, with Arlington in between, as well as a handful of smaller towns/cities so there shouldn’t be a shortage of being able to find something you would enjoy doing 🙂 There’s also a restaurant in Dallas called Tallywackers that is sort of the girls version of Hooters, wear the male waiters are in their underwear, if you’re into that kind of thing.

I’d say go to dallas. I’m from memphis and i now live in california and I visit very often. Beale street is great but recently has been getting sut down due to the rowdyness among other things. I wouldnt want u to end ur night early due to nonesense 🙂

I second Dallas, When I went to Memphis for a wedding a few years ago you basically couldnt leave beale street. I wouldnt personally feel very safe getting rowdy down there with just a small group of girls and not being familiar with the area…and I am from Chicago lol. Fine to visit sober and be able to drive around and go to other parts of Memphis, but I wouldnt pick it for a bachelorette party.

I went to Dallas for mine, and I’m so happy we did. Does someone in your group know the area well? One of my girlfriends grew up there so it was nice having someone know where we were going. lol We spent most of our night in UpTown. Earlier that day we did head to Tallywackers, just for obvious silliness. Think “Hooters” but opposite. Haha
