What’s your theme?  Sometimes theme, your name, where it’s being held can influence a poem.  I did my sister’s bachelorette party and had a poem for the cards I had made and sent out (and this was eons ago..like 15 years ago!).

It went something like this:

Lynn’s wedding date is nearing,

All her girlfriends are cheering,

For we’re throwing the bride one last bash

before they make their altar dash!

Please join us for fun, much debauchery yet to be done,

Let’s toast our bride to be, and give her one last

whirl at being free!

Anyhow, that’s somewhat of what I wrote for her party.  We all met out for dinner and I had a limo pick us all up and we went out and had a fantastic time first going to a fun piano bar where we paid off the performers to single her out and sing songs about her and the wedding and her fiance (whom we all love) and then we went out dancing.  We got home as the sun was rising!

I have a picture of the invite.  I can’t find the real one.

But it should be easy.  Just personalize something fun and rhyme-y with the name, the place it’s being held, maybe the fiancee’s name, and anything fun that will make it unique.

Let us know what you come up with!
