So I have a super cute dress and cream heels to wear for my bachelorette party on Saturday. I have been planning for this night/outfit for many months as I want to look super cute. Somehow I have managed to get a huge cut on the bottom of my big toe which makes it painful for me to walk. I am ok if I wear socks and comfy shoes but I am planning to wear heels. Also to top it all off…my party is in Minnesota where apparently it has decided to snow!! So…now I am wondering if I should scratch the outfit and find something I can wear boots with. I do not want to be freezing and in pain all night. Or do I just suck it up and wear my dream party outfit?!

I’d definitely be careful if you decide to suck it up and wear your heels.. if you’re wearing heels and you’re not fully functional on your feet, you risk falling and really hurting yourself – with your wedding so soon, you don’t want to run the risk of breaking any bones or getting any bigger cuts!
Do you have any cute boots without heels? There are definitely some hot (flat) leather ones out there that would go great with a mini dress, etc. Plus, with it being the end of the season, there may be some great sales happening!
Good luck, and have a great time on Saturday! 🙂

I would keep this cute outfit for another occasion (rehearsal dinner or even the honeymoon) and go with something warm and flat cute boots. Your feet hurting and being cold will ruin your night a lot quicker than not wearing your cute outfit.

Thanks for the advise ladies. I found cute boots on clearance at DSW and am going to wear a different dress. I will save the other dress for the honeymoon for sure. We are going on a cruise and I think it will be nice for one of the formal dinner nights.
