@Seattlegrl: We had a camping weekend with a bunch of friends at a nearby reservoir. Our friends brought blowup dolls, a veil with dicks on it, and a very innapropriate cake (too NSFW to post here, lol). We swam in the river, drank a bunch of beer, BBQed, had a campfire, etc. It was super fun!
We have a great group of friends of both genders and it would have been weird to split up by gender.

I love the idea of a joint party, I kind of wish we had done that for mine!
For my bachelorette we went to the driving range in the afternoon, had dinner/drinks at the house of my two BMs, then we all went to a country bar in town, which was really fun!

We both want a joint party but aren’t getting it due to everyone else’s wishes…sigh, whatever.
We wanted to rent a bus to do the Virginia Brew Trail out near Charlottesville and hit all the breweries around there!

We didn’t have a joint party.. But I planned my husbands bachelor party because his brothers are kind of useless, and if I didn’t plan it wouldn’t get done.
So I set up paintball for him and about 20 guys, he loved it.. It would great for a joint party (guys vs. girls), and then they went out for drinks after at a nice club.

@Seattlegrl: my girlfriends and i are spending a weekend in a cabin in the mountains just eating and drinking and having fun! we found one that sleeps 20 people so we have plenty of space, a hot tub, a river, a fire pit, billiards…all the works!
