- Wedding: October 2011
I had so so much fun at my bachelorette party last night. My personal attendant threw it for me along with my Matron of Honor. They did such a wonderful job, and I loved all the personal touches, like decorating the hotel room in my wedding colors and stuff.
We started at the hotel first and played some bachelorette party games, like “pin the lips on the naked guy” wall poster. We had a few drinks, and my personal attendant collected a few bucks from everybody in a jar so I could drink for free.
The hotel shuttle then took us to a GREAT club here in Omaha called “The Max”, where we danced our asses off until 2 a.m. Aaaaaand, I stayed relatively well-behaved despite the MASSIVE amount of free drinks being thrown my way. Everybody is so nice to you when you’re the bride, hahaha. You get lots of “Awww…how’s it going? I bet you’re so stressed! Here, have a free drink!”
When we got back to the hotel (my fiance’ was our designated driver) things were, um…a little hazy. I DEMANDED a pizza, despite my fiance telling me that no, you’re just drunk, you don’t actually want a pizza (which I didn’t). Apparently I won that argument, BUT, the pizza took like an hour to get there and I was knocked out asleep and refused to wake up to eat it, or so I’m told (classy, I know). I was starving when I woke up though, so it was entertaining to suddenly remember, “Wait…there has to be a pizza in this room somewhere! I vaguely remember belligerently demanding one!” =oD Hahahaha, good times.
Here’s a pic of my outfit! I loved my top…it had sheer lace over the whole back. Very “bridal” (my dress is lace) but also kind of sexy, perfect for a bachelorette party. I also did my makeup and hair similiar to what I’ll be doing on my wedding day. What do you think?
