My bachelorette party was last weekend and the theme was Sex and the City.  All the ladies wore cocktail dresses (my cousin even wore a giant Carrie Bradshaw flower!) and they made me wear a veil with bird on it ("I wore a bird on my head for you!!!!!" ha ha).  It was all city-related, from the cosmopolitans, to the hi-rise, city-view restaurant they picked etc etc.  You’re probably having trouble with the theme because your plans don’t include all guests at all times.  What about if your theme for the slumber party was communicated to guests via your BMs, since presumably their hosting this for you?

I haven’t ever really heard of these being themed, but it’s definitely a fun idea!

For my sister, we did the whole bridal outfit — veil/tiara and white feather boa — dinner out and then a piano bar for quasi-karaoke!

You don’t need a theme, its totally up to you! If you wanted to do 80s, but don’t want to wear the gear to dinner, you could add elements of an 80s theme at dinner & the slumber party. Your BMs could give little items for everyone to wear at dinner, like neon sunglasses & bright colored bracelets (which will make some really cute pics at the dinner table and not too over the top) and you could do a little bit of 80s trivia while waiting for food. Then for your slumber party you could take it to the next level! 80s movies, music, hair, awesome!

LBD is always fun. the best is if you are going out all wear the same thing. you get awesome treatment in bars 🙂 and as for 80’s, i am picturing the slumber party scene in 13 going on 30 for some reason. It sounds like fun!
