It’s hard enough getting me in a plane (I hate the sensation of free fall, so when a plane drops I feel sick).  I think if you enjoy roller coasters and don’t mind heights, then go for it!  I’ve heard it’s pretty exhilarating.  I’m not sure but once you hit terminal velocity, maybe you don’t feel the sensation of free fall, I’m not positive on this..

My Darling Husband did this for his bachelor party. He found it kind of boring (he is really hard to please, obviously!) The people I know who have done it, loved it. I’m sure your friends wouldn’t suggest it if they really thought you wouldn’t like it (I know none of my friends would ever suggest I do it, because they know me well enough). If you generally like a bit of an adrenaline rush I’d go for it – you know yourself best πŸ™‚

PS The videos are hilarious and I think this *is* a great bachelorette idea – if you really want to do it!

It is the MOST amazing thing I have ever done (twice!) and I’m making sure Fiance and I do it on our honeymoon…

it is soooo safe nowadays, especially when you compare it to driving a car!  you only feel that falling feeling for the first split second and then it just kinda feels like you’re floating (but really really loud during the freefall)… freefall is only about 1 minute and then you have a nice parachute ride to the ground… you will be attached to a pro instructor the entire time and you go through some training before hand…

definitely get the dvd if you go… everytime i watch my video from my first jump (back in 2001) I get sooo excited!

I hate heights too, but it really beautiful looking at the ground when I’m in a plane and I don’t think about it too hard.  If you’re going to do this, maybe check with the place you train with to see if you can say no if you end up having a panic attack right before the jump.  Although, I’m not sure if they’d let you jump if they knew you have panic attacks on occasion?  As for advice on your wedding day, just look straight towards your Fiance and concentrate on him.

so did you ever go??

ive been 5 times over the years (wanted to go for my license but it is just to darn expensive!).

I took Fiance for his birthday the first year we were together and he still calls it the best gift anyone has ever gotten him.

My BFF’s sister is DEATHLY afraid of heights/things that look like a painful death… my friend dragged her up… she cried all the way up and screamed all the way down.. got to the bottom said that it was AMAZING, glad she did it but would NEVER need to do it again.. a couple months later, she went again. haha. it is the coolest frekkin thing you could ever do and suuuuuch a great girls weekend experience!
