I think it looks awesome from the front! But that is crazy that it is a 10 and you are a 6 and it looks like that from the back. 🙁

But really, even without a corset back, I am sure they could just put a little bit more material in the seams (or whatever they do- they had to do it to my dress, and it really wasnt that big a deal,) and it would look even more awesome!

what if you got them to lower the back so it doesnt sit so high.

I saw a post recently where someone did these and it worked a treat.

That is weird that it looks like that considering that it is not in your size.  Honestly it doesn’t look like back fat to me.  When I read the title I was picturing something MUCH worse in  my mind.

I’m a bigger size than you and I don’t have [much] back fat on my dress, I honestly think it’s because it’s a corset. since it’s adjustable, it just helps. you can adjust it so that it is just tight enough, but not so tight to make your skin bulge out. also, because it runs up my back a little high, which works well. here’s a pic, just to give you an idea of the effect:

I think I would ask them to lower the back, they should be able to make the line from front to back v a bit, it looks too high to me. Like your… Whatever the proper body part is called I can’t remember but your “wings” lol are resting on the edge. I’m the same size and dress size, mine doesn’t do that but the back is lower than yours.

Pin the corset: for one, is your dress not hers and she’ll get over disliking it, two I don’t see how the dress closure will change the results and three, I personally dislike corsets but that’s just a personal opinion

Is that a La Sposa? So gorgeous 🙂 I second having them lower the back, at least below your shoulder blades!

i guess i’m giving bad advice lol. everyone else says lower the back but I think the high back works well, if it’s done correctly.

There used to be a post on the hive that was AMAZING. it talked about how to alter your dress to eliminate the back fat. I’m gonna try to find it and post it here for you.

@cdncinnamongirl:  thank you! I actually naturally have a bunch of back fat, it’s just sort of how I’m built. :-/ I know some people hate corset dresses, but I’m a bug advocate of them just because of the amazing things they do for your figure.

eta: “big”. I’m a big advocate. Not a bug, I swear.

Oh wow! Month twin and province twin!!! You look beautiful, such a gorgeous dress 🙂 I am going with what others are saying with lowering the back a bit, other then that you’re stunning in it!
