Yes. I had back pain very early on… it was a very tired feeling where I needed to bend myself I. Half and touch my toes to make it feel better. Ive had different kinds of back pain on and off since we found out we were expecting so I believe its completely normal.

I still have back pain at 25 weeks, but I have a pre-existing condition in that area. As far as I know it’s pretty normal in pregnancy.

I did when I was pregnant. I took lots of warm temp bath when I was pregnant it helped me.

mrsfang:  i had back pain during pregnsncy frkm early on – itstarted at 8 weeks. It was so bad that at times I couldnt walk unless i adjusted myself. I go to a chiropractor, and have been going since 9 weeks, and i have zero back pai . Alot of people are against chiropractors (i dont know why), so the other thing i would suggest is usig a heating pad for 20 mins and then ice the area. Its amazing what a little heat and ice can do

Before I even knew I was pregnant I was complaining that my lower back/upper butt was hurting me… and now I’m worried that I’m in for 9 months of pain!

Try putting a heating pad on your back and a pillow.

mrsfang:  Buy a foam roller!  It seriously worked wonders for me!  I use it to stretch and crack my back, and I feel so good after using it.  It really helped with my mid-back pain.

This is kind of how I use it:

Daizy914:  I too also see a chiropractor, because at around 11 weeks I had such bad lower-back pain that it would sometimes stop me in my tracks.  After one session with my chiro I was able to function again.  I saw her once a week for about 6 weeks, and now I see her every 2-3 weeks.  She has helped me so much, and I am generally pain free these days.

MsGolightly:  isnt it an amazing feeling?? To be pregnant and back pain free?! My girlfriend also went to a chiro throughout her entire pregnanch and she said she never had any pain which is wonderful bc so many women experience back pain especially when you are huge!!! i love my chiro and encourage anyone, pregnant or not to see one if you have back pain. Its a life changer.

i knew from the start i was going to be seeing my chiro regularly, i just had to wait for my new insurance to kick in. Bc like you the pain was unbearable, sometimes it would knock me off my feet-it felt like sciatica but worse.

Daizy914:  Yes, it really is a fantastic feeling!  She is also helping me out with my pelvis which she said is kind of lopsided because of the way I have slept my whole life!  So I’ve changed my sleep positions and am doing all the stretches she’s told me to do.  Anything for peace of mind and body is what I’m looking for in this pregnancy.  If I can help myself be pain-free, then that’s a huge win.

Last night I had some bad pain!  10 wk 3 days and it felt like it was my lower spine and pelvis… Wondering if it’s ligaments loosening?  Not fun at all.

mrsfang:  I dont think your alone with overthinking the aches and pains… i’ve even done it. best thing to do is to try and relax and dont stress because stressing out will be worse for baby. i’m almost 37 weeks now and i’m over analyzing everything thinking i’m going into labor. lol. If you are overly concerned with anything though, see the DR… they dont judge and you’ll be better safe than sorry. I went into the hospital for mild tingling in my belly just under my ribs and after checking baby for me sent me home, gave me a perscription for relaxation and a warm bath because all it was was skin stretching. lol i felt like a fool but they still saw me as high priority because who knew my baby best? ME! lol Good luck with everything!
