Here is a picture of what the centerpiece will look like: http://www.adfloraldesign.com/gallery_page14.html#
Will have some light pink and dark pink flowers added in as well….but white will be the dominant color.
Chairs are fruitwood chivaris and our bridesmaids are in royal blue floor length gowns.
The style I’m going for is bright but romantic.
Thoughts for tableclothes? chargers or not? favor box/ribbon colors?
Open to any and all ideas at this point…originally, had thought of royal blue linens (to make the flowers pop). Now I’m not so sure anymore…

I have a burning question– why do people do seating charts? I didn’t for my wedding. I figured people could just find a spot for themselves to sit and choose who they want to dine with.
*Someone did tell me I was being silly for not making seating assignments, but then, I only had 120 guests…

@JaneyDcat: It depends on how big your wedding is and if your guests know each other. We had about 190, but there were 7 different groups (my family, his family, my friends from home, his friends, our work friends, friends from school, My parents’ friends) If we didn’t have a seating chart, more than likely, people would be spread out and may not all be able to sit together. Sure I like to mingle, but for dinner, I would like to sit with people I know since a lot of times, weddings are reunions amongst family and friends. I think a lot of people would feel the same.

@babycakes24: I think chargers look nice. If it is in your budget, then go for it. I probably wouldn’t do royal blue for tablecloths. I don’t get a “romantic” feel from royal blue. Maybe a lighter color like blush pink, ivory, or champagne? Do you have another color besides the blue, like an accent color? I think your favor box ribbon should match whatever color you decide for the tablecloth.

What if you had a medium shade of pink tablecloths with a little bit of texture to it, silver chargers, and royal blue napkins tied with something that was white and a pale pink flower laying on top?
Maybe some chair sashes too–blue maybe? Will that make the chairs too dark? Or white sashes?

I would go for a blush pink cloth, silver chargers, and blue napkins with ties that match the cloth (I would place them stop the charger).
What do you plan ofn doing for a favor? Whatever it is, I would use navy as an accent, not a main color (maybe use it for the label or a ribbon)

thanks everyone. very helpful….
i’m almost back to the idea of layering royal blue napkins on top of light blue tablecloth…chairs are fruitwood chivari (w/ivory seat cushion), and I’d hate to cover them up.
i absolutely swoon over blush pink too…so i’m taking that into serious consideration.
@LovelyLaura: For a favor, we’re doing fudge and will have it boxed. Could be a white box w/navy ribbon and/or label.??
