I had 2 hairstyles.  Half up/down in the morning and an updo for the reception..

I clicked on the topic thinking I could help, but I really can’t. I have a lob haircut that’s angled up in the back, so it stops at the base of my neck and I just wore it down with a headpiece to showcase my dress.

What do you think about maybe wearing your hair down but swooping it over to one side? Or a low down-do?

mgrd7531 :  I have the same issue. I have a low back dress and my hair isn’t super long so I’m just thinking of leaving it down as I really want to show off the back

I have a backless dress too and I plan to have this hairstyle. I also have long thick hair! But disclaimer: I haven’t tried it with a mantilla veil yet.

Mine was not really backless but it has a pretty back, I had a ponytail and was super comfy! At the time my hair was growing from a long bob so I used hair extensions.

I like how I look with my hair down but Maid/Matron of Honor said I would look messy after a bit of dancing (rooftop party) so I went with the best of both worlds!

Sorry for posting so many pics! This way you can get an idea of how it looks with and without the veil!!

It look fairly good after a lot of sweating amd dancing!
