Welcome to Weddingbee.  There are lots of girls on here who have done backyard receptions so I’m sure they can help you out there!

As for your Future Mother-In-Law, is there anything else you can have her help with to direct her attention?  Maybe that will help out your relationship.

How is parking at both of the locations?  That seems like it might be an issue when you are going from one house to another.

Another key thing to remember with backyard receptions is the availability of washrooms.

The facilities in the house are unlikely to be adequate for the number of guests.

You will see lots of posts from Bees who found it more economical to purchase their linens and sell them after the wedding to recoup some of the costs. You will have the added tasks of ironing them before the wedding and laundering after.

Do a search here on WeddingBee to find lots of great online sellers.

You can also buy used. There are many listings on Craigslist. You can look on your local boards or,  to search all Craigslist sites at once go to http://www.google.com

enter       site.craigslist.org

then add what you are looking for  e.g  round tablecloths
