Temporary fencing (like they use at outdoor events or concerts) covered in fabric or the like.

How about a latticed room divider?  A florist could decorate it and you could possibly even rent potted trees to put in front of them too.

The temporary fences would be fine.  My guess is that the neighbors aren’t going to sit on their porcehs and watch your entire wedding, though.

I am having a backyard ceremony too: in our backyard.  Luckily though, ours is super private.  I like the ideas you have so far.  You have to research the options that would work for you and which option would be cheaper (because if you have to rent a ton of stuff just to make the wedding how you want, it could end up costing the same of an affordable park venue).
