@cyndistar3: I’m sorry. An October wedding will be beautiful though and it gives you some more time to plan, save money, and work on DIY projects.

I know it’s hard to see the bright side, but that means he’s home longer with you now right?

i’m sorry this happened to you! I do have to say though think of all the beautiful photos you can get of the leaves falling off of the trees! I’m extremely jealous of this!

@cyndistar3: I’m sorry. πŸ™ At least you can have a lot of fun planning an October wedding! My friend wants to get married on Halloween night, and have a costume reception. I think that’s awesome πŸ˜€

I’m sorry to hear, but I agree with PPs.  You’ll have so much more time to save and make things perfect.  It’ll be a beautiful time of the month as well.  πŸ™‚ -hugs-

Ah that’s rough. Outdoor venues are always cheaper and easier, I wanted one too but couldn’t because of my date being in February. However if you can have it in the beginning of October maybe it won’t be too cold? Maybe you can get a part time job to give you more money to plan with? I’m sorry πŸ™

@cyndistar3: I’m sure there is some sort of part time “work from home” thing you could do to earn some money.

Are you good at any crafts? Proof reading?

It would pass the time while he’s gone AND earn money for the wedding.

@cyndistar3: I really am sorry. Maybe you can try your township hall? A lot of them will let you use them for free or 50$, which is probably the cheapest you can find… ours was 70$ I think and pretty decent size with a kitchen and such…. or see if you can have the reception in the church?
