Could we say something in your defence on facebook since you’ve been deleted and other brides need to beware?

@futuremrshc-I once had a bad experience with with a seller and learned Paypal on gives you 45 days from your payment date to open a dispute. If you fail to open one within this time period, they will not get involved. Many people feel protected when they use paypal, but it’s important to keep this time frame in mind…if you don’t take action w/in 45 days, your not protected. Many sellers know this and take advantage of it. Items that have to be hand made may take longer to arrive, and sometimes, by the time you realize you’ve been had it’s too late.

@Shannamaria:

This is exactly what I have been trying to get other custom brides to understand. They always say “I am protected by paypal” or “I am protected by ebay”. Its not true and it has happened to me.

This is in no way directed

@sunnysunday. I feel for you and hate that you had to experience this. I had the same experience with my 1st custom dress purchase. It was a horrible feeling.

I later rectified my my situtation.

You only have 5 days until you wedding and this type of stress must be horrible.

The dress is nice, however if it isn’t to your specifications then other should know. If only about such horrible customer service.

I think the dress looks really lovely -I’d love to see it on you too! Perhaps you can get a seamstress to tack down the puffy bits?

Also, if you used a credit card through paypal you should be able to file a complaint with them.

I don’t get it, isn’t your wedding on July 3? How is that 5 days away? I only noticed because my daughter is getting married on July 3 too. Horrible what you’ve had to go through tho!

Oh goodness what a nightmare! I haven’t started planning my wedding yet, but I always wondered about the people on Etsy. Thank you for the review! I hope everything works out for you.
