- Wedding: May 2011
I purchased our wedding guest book along with a few other things from adoramapix previously. I have always loved the product and everything I have received has come quickly and done correctly. However, a few weeks ago, I ordered 3 different wedding photoalbums from them. One for my hubby and me, one for my parents, and one for my in-laws. They are all a little different with the ones for parents focusing more on their respective families and my hubby and mine being a balance between the two. i received 3 photo albums. I received the one for my hubby and me exactly right. However, I received two identical books (the one I made for my in-laws) and not the one I made for my parents.
I checked the order I made to make sure I did in fact request 3 different books and saw that my order showed I did. So, I called adoramapix to ask what to do. To be fair, the first gentleman I spoke with was nice and accommodating. He asked that I email adoramapix a picture of the two to show that I did receive two of the same book. I have no problem with this since it is probably easier than mailing the books back. However, after the email, I did not receive a reply. So, I called customer service only to talk to some one, have her investigate and put me on hold for 15 minutes to then hang up on me.
I then call back and speak to another woman. Or she says it is another woman because she actually sounds the same, and when I ask if she is the same she just says no, it could not have been me. She then says that they received the email and are currently looking to see if they have already printed the book and if they don’t find it, then they will print it and send it. I asked how long this will all take, and I got a vague response of oh, hopefully, we will send it by the end of the week. When I told her I felt frustrated with the lack of response in trying to correct my order, her exact response was well, what else do you want us to do – we are going to reprint the book? When I pointed out to her that it was never printed in the first place, and I just wanted the order I placed weeks ago properly completed, she just said well, we will get to it. Gee, thanks… Whenever you get to it….
