Horrible experience with Forever Wed Store that I thought I would share to prevent any other people from having a similar experience. Check out their company reviews on Wedding Wire too – sadly, my experience tends to be status quo.
Here’s the deal:
I ordered a product 2 months prior to my wedding, and they immediately took payment ($120).
Then 2 and a half weeks later, they contacted me to say they didn’t have it in stock and could only send me a different colour. I replied to say the new colour wouldn’t work for my colour scheme, and that I was incredibly disappointed with their customer service that they took over 2 weeks to let me know they where out of stock. Had it been prompt, I may have been able to find an alternative.
Then I never heard back.
So I contacted them again, and demanded an immediate refund.
Still, I never heard back.
So I finally phoned them directly. The girl on the phone (who was nice enough) said that the person handling refunds wasn’t in the office but would be in 1/2 an hour. I gave her 2 numbers to call me on and asked that she return my call that day. While she was on the phone she looked at my account and said that it showed me as having received a credit already – the day after my payment. I checked my Visa and no credit had ever been issued. And why would they have credited me if they weren’t planning to tell me they were out of stock for another 2+ weeks!!
And big surprise…I never heard back.
Finally the only response I get is an automated UPS cancellation notice. Why am I getting a shipping cancellation?
Finally, 2 days later a credit shows up on my credit card. Still not a peep from the company. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Caveat emptor, ladies!!
