- Wedding: March 2011
So word to the wise to the other future brides out there.. don’t get married, decide to move, and have finals in the same couple of months. So exhausting. I have 2 finals left, one on Monday and one Tuesday. We are trying to rent out house since the market certainly isn’t the best for selling these days. And in the midst of all this chaos, a wedding packed full of DIY projects to put together! Of course I could just make my planner either do stuff her self or buy it from somewhere else, but I just really want to have personal touches all over our special day. I konw no one else will really notice but I don’t care. Our most recent project, DIY-ing our invites, was so much fun and I am so happy with the unconventional and creative result. I am getting more and more excited every day to wear my wonderful dress and meet my fabulous man at the end of the isle. I just so wish I handled stress better! It’s nuts having so much going on but I guess that’s life, eh?
We’re moving into a verrry much fixer upper. It was my grandmothers house before she died but since my dad can’t bear to sell it and he doesn’t want to move in, it’s us to the rescue! So we are cleaning her house for the first time in 60 years and dealing with all of that emotional baggage and pain that comes with it, while worrying about fixing up our house for renters. Most people just have the one house to deal with! I kind of love the craziness though, even if that sounds nuts. I love a challenge!
Anyone else out there pick a seemingly super dooper difficult time to plan a wedding?
