Hi!! Your so right that sometimes dressilyme.com is really slow to respond. I think presales isn’t very quick with them. I had to call them to talk on the phone and ask them to respond to my order questions. The 1st few order questions for me went smoothly but the last two or three afterward regarding another dress didn’t. After getting them on the phone they quickly reviewed my questions.

It think that for me it wasn’t a bother because I have prepaid skype and could easily call China on my timezone. I think if they hadn’t responded and I wasn’t available to call then I would have skipped past them too.

The 1st dress I bought from dressilyme was easy on their site because I paid first. After I paid all their questions went so fast. Everyday or every few hours their aftersales service was nice.

The 2nd dress I bought was super slow. I wanted the custom dress and had a ton of questions. As I said they didn’t contact be back until I spoke to Karen directly and she emailed me back every few hours about each question.

Sorry you had a bad time with them. They maybe should consider being more direct to each reply.

I love your dresses by the way!!!! Really they are so beautiful. I hope you can find the right maker for your gown. Wink

But I think I had to get many of the companys either on the phone or by chat. The email itself sometimes sucks unless the company has people sitting by the computer constantly.

I talked with Milly’s bridal for 1 hour on the chat service and then when I went to buy their page didn’t work for a week!!! I was so angry with them.

I talked with mybigfatwedding.com and they were nice but I didn’t really like the presales chat very much.

I talked to jeff liu/aprils bridal and I really hated their presales, aftersales, customer service and everything but he was super fast with response. They must have many workers at all times.

I talked to coralsbridal.com through email and they didn’t resond quickly.

Dressilyme as I said didn’t respond quickly to some presales but responded to all aftersales with detailed information. Thats ultimately why I did go with them.

If forgot who else I talked to!

Oh Monicasbridal responded to my chats but they didn’t give me too much info on what they were going to use.

Also, babyonline.com didn’t give me much info but they said they could make my dress through the chats.

I think with any of the companies you choose you should try to start chatting or calling them on the phone. I don’t know which place you feel the most comfortable with but either way you should maybe try to get more direct contact for your questions.

I loved dressilyme.com  for my dress but there are many companies out there to work with. Either way maybe talk directly with your China company. I don’t think I will prefer settling my dress through only emails again. I just loved personal interaction.

@Cmt83:

I hear great things about Landybridal. I haven’t worked with them personally but from what I hear it sounds really positive. I think they do chatting.

Dressilyme doesn’t have a chat system. Thats why I called on the phone and their emails can be good with information but sometimes unpredictable before you buy. Maybe only the 1st few serious inquiries. Thats what I gathered because it seemed like I was sending them junk mail. Haha!!

My first few tries I asked for sample pics of about 2 or 3 dresses and questions about custom images. They answered me but then later I started to notice my questions were being set aside. I finally just bought the dress I had inquired about.

Anyways, it is a flaw that I noticed too.

Landysbridal has a very good reputation and I saw some happy girls on this site.

Its seems like the girls on here always have suggestions. If you scroll through there are some landybridal girls on here. Maybe you can PM them some questions about their dresses and their experience.

Let us know what you decide!! I hope a good custom company can make you a happy bride and gain your trust. I know how stressful it can be waiting on the dress and trying to find the right place to make you feel at ease.

Also I am not sure if this is the same Landybridal because some of these China companies have similar names. But it looks like this has pics of the dress and their version http://cnasapbuy.en.made-in-china.com/custom/xJxQmEEVynfY/Landybridal-Wedding-Dress-1.html

Maybe its the same Landybridal.com with an external site elsewhere. I dunno. ^_^ Anyways!! Good luck girl! I hope you will have success with your dress.

Yeah you know I heard good things about Landysbridal. I think they will do an awesome job. Each company is different in whats best for another bride. I am glad they helped you out with your questions and gave you quick responses.

They are a big company and I am sure they will do a great job for you. I am sure they will do an excellent job with your dress. Get back to us on the fit and design. I can’t wait to see.

Dressilyme still gets my A+ for communication because I talked over the phone and got quick aftersales response from them. I am on their facebook page and sometimes see others wondering about their presale email. Oh well, none are perfect. I am pretty dang happy with my dresses though ^_^

You could also try an ebay seller called Enjoy Dress Store. They seem to be able to replicate the designer dresses well (see bostonblingbride2011’s post about her dress.)

I am also using them to make my dress and that should be done by the end of the month.

Their email is [email protected] or [email protected].

Good luck and please keep us posted!

i had good communication and am very happy with my dress from inweddingdress.com. Their english was good enough that they directly answered my questions without giving me a general answer that could pertain to all sorts of questions. My dress was very simple, but it was not one they had on their website. I just got it this week, its lovely. You might check them out.
