I don’t think it flatters you at all.  The eyeliner is really heavy on top, and smudgey.  The colours of shadow, are too distinct, they don’t look blended at all, and it’s uneven.  I think you would do better yourself.

The makeup in that little profile picture is waaaay better.

I would not want her in charge of my wedding look.

The brows are terrible, the eyeshadow is not properly blended, the eyeliner is sloppy.

Whoa. That is pretty bad. I can line better than that in the dark.

I would have to agree with you. Make up is my forte. And your eyeliner is wayyyyyyy uneven. The left side is so much thicker than the right. But it isn’t even straight!!! And the mascara is just too clumpy. Everything is just no no no. See if you can get another makeup artist that has time for a trial! Or maybe make an appointment at a MAC or the mall.

You’re beautiful, but that makeup is horrible and it’s all i can look at. Do it yourself!

mrssjwilliams:  You are so pretty, but unforunately the MUA did a crappy job. I would absolutely not give her a second chance on the day of your wedding. I think the best bet is to do it yourself (if  you are up for it) or find a new MUA asap.

Find someone else or do it yourself… I don’t even wear makeup and I can put on less clumpy mascara.  It’s too bad you have to start from scratch but at least you did a trial and didn’t find out day of!

I’m a makeup artist and there is no way I would leave a client like that. The look appears unfinished. The eyeshadow is not blended enough, the eyeliner is crooked and uneven and the way she has applied the blush is wrong for your face shape. She’s brought it in too far making you look flushed. The base seems to have set well and I can see where she was going with the colour palette which is quite nice but I’m struggling to any other positives plus if you are unhappy with it, then that is all that matters and I wouldn’t risk it on your big day. Like a PP stated, you’re very pretty (I would actually love to work on your face – you don’t need any real work, just enhancements of your beautiful features), you have an “easy” face to work with. I don’t know how she got it so wrong.

Woah… Nope you are not over reacting at all. It looks NOTHING like the inspo pic you gave her. The mascara looks very clumpy, and the whole look detracts from your natural beauty!
