mrssjwilliams:  Oh dear, you are gorgeous but that make up is not. The eye make-up is really just a disaster, and I definitely wouldn’t bother having another go with the same person. I wouldn’t trust anyone that was happy to leave your eyeliner looking like that… It also looks like she left a distinct brown contouring line on your cheek, but maybe that’s just part of a new make up trend I’m not up on the play with 😉

If you are confident with doing your own, why don’t you have a trial run one night soon and then take lots of pictures? You definitely need to check it out in photographs to make sure it’s going to work for an event like a wedding. If you don’t like the way it turns out, or think you would feel more special having someone else do it on the day for you, then keep on the hunt for another artist.

I have no doubt that whatever you do you’ll look gorgeous on the day. Sorry you had such a bad experience today though!

Your profile picture makeup looks great, and if you were the one that did it, you should just do your own. That way you’ll save money, not look like crap, and look like you! The person your fiance fell in love with!!

Holy hell I am so sorry girl <3 That is just not okay. Save your money, cut your losses, and DIY or leave it to a trusted friend. Best thing you can do now is try to perfect your look yourself. Lots of practice at home and WATCH YOUTUBE TUTORIALS! They are a lifesaver. You are a gorgeous girl and she did not flatter your beauty at all! Makeup is supposed to help shape your face and accentuate the good stuff. She doesn’t have a feel for what it should be. Can I ask how much she was going to charge? I’m curious.

Also, don’t feel bad to leave a review on Yelp with photos, save other brides from this mess.

mrssjwilliams:  You did way better!!!! Oh my god, that is like perfection compared to what she did. Try baby oil or baby wipes to clean the eyebrows.

mrssjwilliams:  No!! You are a pretty  girl, yet your make up makes you look older and your skin looks super blotchy. Your foundation doesn’t look very blended in and there are distinct lines of contouring that I can see in your cheekbone area. Your eyebrows also look too bushy in the way she lined them Or filled them In.  I definitely would either do it yourself or find someone else. When it comes to doing make up, if you’re just a little good, you could definitely do a better job than this. You know your face better than anyone else does, so it’s in your best interest to do your own face.  What types of products did she use? The foundation is just awful to me, I’m sorry but I’m just being honest.

I’m so sorry. She did a TERRIBLE job with that eyeliner. TERRIBLE. It’s not straight or blended! I’d move on too.

This is making me SO nervous about the fact that I’m not doing a trial.

Your profile pic makeup look is approximately four thousand times better. 🙂 So at least you know you can do it yourself if you have to?

mrssjwilliams:  Defintely do it yourself. You did a much better job than the MUA.
