Apparently ice cream can be addictive. This is bad news for me! I love ice cream so much, that I can see exactly how it has addictive properties. When I have it, I want it every day, but if (like now) I haven’t had it in a while, I don’t crave it. Well, until I read this article and started thinking about ice cream, that is!
Fellow ice cream addicts, what are we to do!
oh, and what are your favorites 😉
I love – Dairy Queen strawberry/cherry cheesequake blizzards
cookies & cream
pretty much all of them!

My absolute favorite is Ben & Jerry’s Coffee Health Bar Crunch.
Phish Food is a close second.
Some of my other favorites are:
Pralines and Creme
And when I was little I loved Gold Medal Ribbon at Baskin Robbins.

@KatNYC2011: I have heard of Phish food many times but I’ve never actually tried it!

@hisgoosiegirl: Oh good. This is fantastic news.
I <3 ice cream. I used to joke when I was a kid that if they could make all food in ice cream form, I’d be happy. Ha!
Faves: DQ mint oreo or that chocolate extreme thing
Hagen Daaz – Peanut Brittle, Half Baked, or plain Mint
Sebastain Joes – Cookies and Cream and Salted Caramel
Grand Ol’ Creamery – Cake Batter
I live in the dairylands. There’s a lot of ice cream here. Good grief, we carve people’s faces into blocks of butter. It’s been four days since my last ice cream treat.

Mmm, ice cream. I don’t love it as much as most people seem to but it’s still a staple in my house. My absolute favorite is soft serve pistachio (with NO nuts) in a waffle cone. I may or may not have traveled over an hour to get an ice cream cone a few summers ago. It’s hard to find around here and normally just a “special” flavor that pops up every now and then. After I win the lottery I’m totally opening my own ice cream shop and serving soft pistachio year round!

@artichokey: I’ve had several friends get their faces carved in that butter 😉
I grew up on a dairy, went to college and joined a club that makes and sells homemade ice cream as one of their biggest fundraisers, and now live in WI. I can’t escape it, nor would I want to!

@hisgoosiegirl: Nice!!! I always make sure to admire the butter heads. And usually get multiple ice cream treats from the dairy building.
Our seasonal DQ opened last week and I was THRILLED. A stop had to be made immediately. Heeheeehee!

Haagen Dazs Amaretto Almond crunch, good lord that stuff is good.
Cookies and cream on a warm brownie
Ben and Jerry’s had an amazing Coconut Cream Pie and White Russian ice cream, but they discontinued both of them, boooo…

Half Baked by Ben & Jerry’s and Reese’s blizzards at Dairy Queen! My favorite regular flavor is mint choc. chip. Yum!!

I’m pretty boring, my favorite is plain vanilla!
Although there’s a peanut butter pie frozen yogurt that I love: vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and graham cracker swirl, and mini peanut butter cups. Yum.
Rocky road, but I have to be in the right mood. Usually I go for vanilla–the creamier the better–particularly the triple churned stuff…can’t remember the brand at the moment.

Ice cream just really doesn’t do it for me.
It’s my mom’s absolute favorite food and although she made us eat our veggies and tried to make us eat healthy growing up, the one junk food we were allowed to eat at any time of the day was ice cream… because that would give her an excuse to eat some too!

@Mrs Sarah McK: One of my classes had a couple lectures about dairy products – by far the most popular flavor is vanilla!
We also got to do a blind taste test on the ice cream (so hard to do, I know!) and a lot of the class actually disliked Edy’s. Breyer’s, Blue Bunny, and Haagen-Daas were the most popular.

Glad I don’t like ice cream lol
Well, except Jeni’s splendid ice creams, but that’s actually more of a gelato..and super expensive so it happens like twice a year ha!
