@Laurenplusalex:  Eh. We all slip up. Just focus on something else for the time being. As long as you have a timeline and are on the same page regarding marriage and all it entails, there is really nothing else that you can do.

Hang in there, and focus on something else – I know it’s easier said than done, but it works!

@Laurenplusalex:  Keep hoping! We just celebrated our 2nd anniversary with NO ring so I know what you are in.

@Laurenplusalex:  Ive been with my SO for over 4.5 years lived together for 3.5. We are 28 and 27. I’ve watched almost ALL of my friends get engaged, married, and pregnant. Hardly any of them have been together as long as we have. I used to lose it all the time. Then he told me every time I brought it up, it took a little more of the fun out of it for him. So I shut my mouth. It’s super hard at times, but he recently told me its going to be this year. So I’m impatiently waiting. Hang in there, I know you’re ready, I was at 2 years too. Lol. Keep your mind and body occupied and try your hardest not to get bitter or angry at him. ๐Ÿ™‚ we are all here for support!!

@Laurenplusalex:  It’s totally normal to have a bit of a break. My SO for the longest time said he would do it when he was employed in a stable job (last job was 100% commision pay). When he suddenly said stable meant full time at a certain pay rate, and not just regular pay scale, I flipped on him. We all have crazy moments.

@Laurenplusalex:  Don’t worry about it, my boyfriend makes those snarky, smart ass comments too. This morning I wanted to ask him a question about his cousin’s wedding next week and as soon as he heard “wedding” he groaned and said, “Seriously? That’s the first thing you want to talk about this morning?”
