i think i prefer bayden or baden but i really like baiden.

i don’t think the “y” in the name makes it feminine at all.  both my son and my husband have a “y” in their names in lieu of another letter.  they are far from feminine.

I’d do Bayden just so he doesn’t have to spend his life correcting people who pronounce it Bad-den.

In my earlier post, I posted BC, but meant AD. Can’t edit the post, but I figured I’d point out that I am a derp.

Honestly, I though you meant to write Braden or Brayden…

To me it looks like you forgot a letter and just didn’t fix it.  I’m not a fan of the name (and I actually like the Haden, Caden, Aiden names), but if you both love it then go for it…  BUT, I am with other bees, go with Baiden, the Y makes it look feminine and although I was pronouncing it correctly, it would be a pain to have to correct someone all the time if people are already not pronouncing it right.

@MrsCofer

I’m with o0olibelulao0o on this. I initially thought you mistyped “Braden/Brayden”. I think this will be a common thought, and your kid will get called Braden/Brayden all the time.

@MrsCofer:  Ha — that’s my last name!

Just a word of advice: we pronounce it Bay-den; in German (it means “to bathe”) it’s pronounced Bahh-den; most people mistakenly pronounce it Bad-den.

Good luck to your kid. Tell him there’s a host of Badens in the world who wish him well.
