Like previous posters, I had a bad experience at David’s Bridal.

Going in to the shop, I had lower expectations than what I would have had at other shops. However, the service I received was unbelievable. I was first told by the front desk lady (actually more like front folding-table lady) that I should consider myself lucky that I would even get to try on dresses that day, since they were busy. (um…ok?) She told us straight that we weren’t allowed to pull gowns (dumb!) and then I had to fill out a sheet with my information. She then told me that I would be receiving calls from 3rd party vendors with my information unless I signed a “box” (the box was like microscopic in size).

My consultant came up and took me back to my dressing room, meanwhile she was excusing me to talk to other brides that she had. She then asked me what I liked, and  she only picked one dress at a time…she would disappear for like 15 min at a time, and she left the dressing room open while she was taking dresses of of me!

After I saw the quality of the dresses and the fact that they had nothing there for me, I made my mom call another bridal shop and make an appointment during our appointment at DB lol.

I told the consultant that I was done trying on dresses and then left. I went to my appointment and then found my dress and was treated wonderfully at the other bridal salon!

@mikachii:  The staff at DB is suppose to ASK you if its okay for them to distribute your email, phone #, and address to places. THEY NEVER EVER asked me… so i get all the hoopla with sales people.
