- Wedding: September 2010
I finally got my pro photos! Yay!! So I want to make sure I do a great job recapping for you, so bear with me here, I’m going to break this down into a few threads and then I’ll try to upload albums into my bio as the week goes on.
So first things first. The day of our wedding was a mess. Our tent and all our rental items were supposed to arrive and be set up Friday morning/early afternoon. They didn’t. Poor Darling Husband was beside himself trying to get things straight. I think at one point he may have threatened one of the rental company guys…. Thankfully we have some amazing friends who all pulled together, got our tent up on Saturday, got the whole thing decorated (maybe not the way we had pictured, but some of the things we ordered didn’t arrive….) and pulled our wedding day off. Seriously, we were very very close to not having a reception area. Very close. Thank god I didn’t know at the time. I don’t know what we would have done without our friends. So here they are putting it all together and saving our butts!!!
Getting the Winnebago ready. Darling Husband and one of the Groomsmen get the “Going to the Chapel” sign put up on the back for our first look.
The rest of the guys work on cleaning up the Winnebago while the tent, kitchen, and tables get set up. A couple of my girlfriends spent hours wiring orchids to the corkscrew hazel tree, it looked STUNNING.
