@Tiffner:  OMG!  That dress is gorgeous!  And you look like a size 8, not 16!  Tiny waist!

I am a street size 14/16 with my stomach being the area I am most self-conscious about. I found a ball gown that does a great job of hiding any excess in my stomach. I think ball gowns look great on plus size ladies. ๐Ÿ™‚

@parapluie:  Wow thank you so much:) It is from David’s Bridal. It is Galina Style PK3357. You can’t see in the picture, but it has small polka dots all through the tulle. I was obsessed with it for months before getting engaged, and it was the first dress I tried on. I swear it was meant to be. I love it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I didn’t think a ballgown would be the style of dress that I would go with but the minutes I tried this Maggie on I knew it was the one. Very flattering!

@jadealexaellis:  We are dress twins!

I just purchased this Galina in a size 18W.  I am a street size 18 and the dress pictured is a 14 that I somehow managed to squeeze over my hips.  I love my figure and wasn’t planning on getting a ballgown/fluffy dress, but this one is so fun and perfect for me… and it has polka dots on it!  I love it!

Ball gowns are my absolute favorite style, but I just don’t have the right body for them, and most of them are much out of my price range, so I am going with empire waist!

Hi girls:)  My dress was ordered as a bridal size 16 and then the top and waist were taken in to about a size 10 or 12… but just nipped in at the hip a bit.  I am 6’1”, so my proportions might look a little off for some of you smaller girls.  I think drop waisted ball gowns are great to enhance the waist!!

I got marrried a month ago, and loved my Maggie Sottero Isadora Marie! Only a few pro pics back so far, but felt absolutely amazing in it!

Actually our video might help as you can see how it looked in action – enjoy!

I am full figured (about a a 16) and I always wanted the ballgown. I tried on someother styles like A line and fit and flare, but ultimately chose a tulle Eve of Milady ballgown. These pics are in a size 12 sample so the fit is way off but you can get the idea.
