    I’m in the same boat and figured I’d keep an open mind until I find something I like. I’m pretty picky about shoes being comfortable, so I figuring keeping my options open increases my chance of finding something that works.

    I voted for ballet style shoes. They look more elegant than flip flops… unless you’re at a beach..

    That is a truly beautiful dress!

    I think strappy sandles would work best.  I think they can be more dressy than ballet flats…

    Oooh looooove your dress!  I think a strappy sandal would be dressier.  You could always get a pair of ballet slippers to slip on later if your feet hurt.

    Wow! Your dress is gorgeous!!!! I say sandals becuase of the fact that it is in a park, overlooking the ocean. For some reason, I think sandals are more appropriate?! When I hear park and ocean I guess I think sandals!

    I vote for sandals…I had to do the same exact thing..decide between a ballet flat and sandal..my weddiing in in August and I have a similar style ruffly dress at the bottom..problem is I haven’t been able to find anything I love….I am thinking maybe these..

    i’m going to go against the grain and say i think that since there’s so much going on in your (absolutely amazing!) dress, i’d choose a simple flat
