I don’t care what others think, and neither should you! 🙂

Here is my “princess dress”.

I’m wearing a ballgown, it’s what I’ve always wanted, I breifly considered a mermaid/fit & flare lace style, but I know I’d be so uncomfortable showing my thighs and now my stomach. My dress is tight just to the natural waist which is perfect, and I’m wearing a colored sash which made it seem less like I was being swallowed by a giant ivory sea. Plus I love having a big skirt to swing around! I wore a ballgown with a train to queer prom last month too, and I loved being in it 🙂 so I know I made the right style choice with my wedding gown

Watch Say Yes to the Dress!!! That’s where I get my big ball gown fixes!!! Fiance wanted something fitted. I wanted to be a princess for a day. Here’s our compromise:

People who trash talk ballgowns/princess dresses can go suck it! lol I originally thought I wanted the super fitted dress, but fell in love with the way a ballgown looked on me. My friend said something to me that has stuck in my head, “There’s several occasions each year you’re able to wear a tight fitted dress, when do you ever get to wear a big ‘ol ballgown?!” So true!! So I went with my gut and got a ballgown and couldn’t be happier!

I was worried my dress was too much, but my family talked me in to it! I loved my dress! 🙂

Mine is big and princessy and I’ve had my fair share of snarky comments, but I love it!
