@Purplelicious:  I bought some and have been breaking them in for weeks. I’ve also danced in them in dance classes. I reccomend them! Just make sure you know your size.

@Purplelicious:  Do it!! If you’re looking for comfy AND stylish ballroom/Latin dance shoes I would recommend http://www.belladanceshoes.com or http://www.burjushoes.com

You can also customize the heel shape and height! I used to be on a salsa team and I found that if I practiced a lot in my shoes, they stretched out quite a bit. So if you plan to practice in your bridal shoes, make sure they’re snug so you can break them in without being too loose on the day of.

If you can afford it, definitely. But don’t forget that you can still dance in non-ballroom shoes! Suede gets trashed on rough surfaces.

Many ballroom dancing shoes have a suede sole, which means you won’t be able to wear them outside.  FH and I will be switching into our ballroom shoes just before the first dance so that we can go outside for photos in our wedding shoes.  You can of course get ballroom shoes with leather soles, but just bear in mind that you need to check what type of soles the shoes have before you buy them if you want to be outside at all on the wedding day.
