We can help you out! Rent My Wedding is located in Baltimore, and I think uplighting would be your best bet for the curtain.  Instead of trying to hide it, the uplighting would actually make it a beautiful backdrop.  See the photos below.  The first one is from one of our recent clients who set up her own uplighting; the second photo is one I found online showing uplighting on a darker curtain.

We rent uplights for $19/each, including free delivery and return shipping.  You can set them up yourself.  Just plug in and push a button to pick a color. The lights link together, so you only need one outlet. It would take 20 minutes or less to do the entire curtain area.  Please check us out at https://www.RentMyWedding.com

I don’t know if you still need lighting or not, but we do offer uplighting in the Northern VA area.  We have a special right now, full room uplighting starting at $350.00!  Best part is, we setup the lighting for you.  Full Room uplighting includes up to 20 lights!  Smaller Packages also available.

If you want to do DIY it, you can do that as well, but you will also need to make sure you have the right length extension cords and someone to set them up.

We do large and small venues.

This is an older post but really like your uplight colors. Here is a company that serves Florida and will deliver setup and breakdown uplights so you don’t have to diy rent them. Uplighting Rental
