I think it depends if the majority of your guests are local or not. Guests who are traveling to your wedding may not be able to get it home with them.

While I think in theory it’s cool.. I have to admit that if I were a guest at your wedding I would probably leave it behind.  I can kill a plant within a matter of a week and I wouldn’t want to try to find a place in my house to put it.

I like them.  And then I would always think of your wedding when I looked at the plant.  It’s cool…and different.

I recommend typing something up about how to care for them. I would really like receiving this favor but I would have no idea how to take care of it.

Great favor idea. It’s practically impossible to kill it. Plus, you don’t need a full garden for it, just a window sill.

We wanted to do these so badly, but since like 80% of our guest list was out of town, it just wouldn’t work!

I really really like them but I think you should save your money; most people will just leave it or kill it i think

I love the idea- I was considering doing them for centerpieces….any ideas about the cost? Esp if you are buying in bulk?

If the theme is Asian how about Fortune cookies? you could personalize a message in each one.
