I am debating do I want to get a eternity band to add some to the top view of my ring or go with the band that has side stone to keep the embellishments I love on my engagement ring. I have attached my engagement ring pic and then the two bands I am between. Also please vote above 😀 Thank you

I would go with the eternity band. The number one thing I love about my eternity wedding band is that it’s big enough to be worn alone (without e ring) when I want it to.

Band 1 because it matches your e-ring so well. But I could be biased, as I’m one of the few on WB that isn’t a big fan of sparkly wedding bands.

I really like the look of band #1, but wouldn’t the diamonds on the sides of each ring ruB against each other? Couldn’t that abrade the stones?

You will be loosing the stones on one side of your e-ring when you wear your wedding band so why would you want to have another side of diamonds hidden if you pick number one? That would be a shame!!!

As PPs have mentioned, I would be worried about the diamonds rubbing together. But I guess with either ring, you would run into that issue since the diamonds are on the side on your ering…..so I say go with the 2nd one, so it’s not diamonds rubbing against diamonds.

Thank you all. I hadn’t thought about the diamonds rubbing against each other with the first band. I think I am leaning more towards the first to see both distinctly the e-ring and band when together. Also I feel I could wear the second band more by itself.

I like #2 better, but I think you should definitely go try the bands on. The diamonds on the side of your e-ring might scratch whatever wedding band you have. You want to make sure they aren’t digging into the prongs of your wedding band, because it makes it easier to lose a diamond that way. And the only stone that can scratch a diamond is another diamond, so I would avoid diamond-on-diamond if I could.
