Ok, so I had a different poll with 3 different rings (http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/which-wedding-band-pic-heavy-aka-ring-drama). Fiance chatted and he likes the detail of the larger ring, but wants me to make sure I’m happy with the proportions. I think it looks great and I like the detail on the band (has two small diamonds next to the larger ones that compliment my ering)… figured I’d toss up another poll 🙂
Here is the ring!

It totally depends on the look you are going for. I think these rings match very well, If you are looking to show off your e-ring then I would go with something smaller, but you can still tell that you have an e-ring and a band so I wouldn’t worry about it

They look great together!
They don’t look like they FIT very well, and that doesn’t seem like it could possibly be comfortable, but once you get them sized, I think they’ll be great! The band doesn’t overpower the Engagement Ring at all. They complement one another.

I think they look great together : ) I don’t think it’s a question of the one ring overpowering the other, it’s about what look you’re going for like globalmargaret said.
It’s a beautiful set. If you were to choose a thinner band the ering would definetely stand out more than it does with this ring and then probably have a more dainty feel and look. This look is indeed very blingy and also harmonious and the band is substantial enough to wear on it’s own.

I’m not a fan. I think the e-ring would look better with a thinner wedding band

I’m not a big fan either. I think it’s a bit busy, and I’m not sure where to look. Separately they’re both beautiful, but together, I think they both get overpowered.

I agree with PP who mentioned it overpowers your e-ring. This isn’t my style. I would go with something more subtle, but, if you like it, I say you should go for it.

I really love that band, but when I looked at your hand, the only thing I saw was the band. I didnt even notice the e ring until a few seconds later. I think it overpowers it just a tad. I think the style of band is perfect with the ering, just perhaps with some smaller stones.
