I’m trying to find a band to play at my reception and all the ones I like are booked. Is anyone else booking a band? If you are/have post a link to the band’s website! Bonus points if they’re located in New England!
Also, in picking a band, what kinds of questions did you ask? I have a list, but I’m just curious if I’m missing something.

Stuff we asked:
How long are your set breaks?
Do you bring your own DJ for set breaks? (This ended up costing extra)
Do you bring your own equipment?
Do you bring your own lights? (We ended up needing to provide lighting from a lighting company = extra cost)
Price per hour?
What attire will you wear?
Do you require a dressing room/break room?

@Legallyblondiebride: Thanks for the suggestions. I hadn’t thought about whether they’d need a break room.

No problem! Yes, ours require a break room, 2 hours set up time, 2 hours break time, a break room and refreshments.

@Legallyblondiebride: What kind of music are you having them play during dinner? Also, did you end up going to a showcase to see the band play? I’m finding that most of the good bands are booked, so I’m hesitant to wait to see them play before booking, but I also want to see how they actually perform and now all the bands have great videos online.
