I would get a straight 3 stone baguette band, with the outside stones being tapered baguettes that match your ering’s baguettes, and with a center baguette that goes under the OEC. Here’s mine as an example (though mine isn’t OEC), but I also don’t mind a gap. I think you will have less of a gap than I do, though, because emerald cuts stick out at the top/bottom more. I’m also biased 😉ring11

Ohhh, I love your ring! If you don’t mind mixed metals, I think a plain vintage 18k yellow gold band looks good with nearly everything. Happy hunting!

I think a plain straight band would look so much nicer

lilredcat :  I actually got mine on Etsy for a really good price. It took a bit of hunting but was well worth it! Perhaps you could try on a baguette one in a store to see if you like it first without even having to buy a test one.

I have a knife edge band that has some floral etching and milgrain on it and I LOVE IT! Another member here has (or had) a knife edge band with her tapered baguette engagement ring, and seeing hers really solidified my choice (since I had already found & fell in love with the ring I ended up getting.)

Your engagement ring setting has milgrain on the sides, doesn’t it?

When I was trying on bands, the plain ones didn’t do much for me. I love the look of the baguette bands, though. I also really like the band you originally picked, and I think etching details are really great, but I totally get where you’re coming from on not wanting a curved band.

Found these on Pinterest.   Also, I think twobirch has a baguette ring guard.  At least they did, tried it earlier this year.
