I have a cz stand in that I wear occasionally with baguettes. When I wear it I wear my 1/4 eternity band and I think it’s gorgeous!

I have a similar ring. It’s OMC cushion diamond with side baguettes. We just picked our bands up this week. This is what we picked to go with it. Tried loads on. The jeweller made it lower profile so the diamond won’t get bashed by the wedding band baguettes and also so the settings line up exactly.

I also tried on a few Chanel set bsnds which also would have worked but not so matchy.

midwestbride14:  I think a plain band would look gorgeous. But since you want a diamond band, then I’d go with a thin pave band with round diamonds, or maybe even a band that has alternating rounds and baguettes. Go try some on to see what you like. Your ring is gorgeous btw ๐Ÿ™‚

I love that setting! I’m planning on getting an Asscher cut stone with tapered baguettes. I tried on several options with it, and I actually preferred a plain band the width of the metal part of the setting–it best emphasized the center stone, and I hate a lot of “clutter” on my hands. Here are some other ones I considered:

A curved band, so minimize any “gap.”

A band with a cut-out to fit perfectly flush. My guy likes this look, but I wanted to be able to wear the wedding band on its own sometimes.

A band with channel set emerald cut diamonds, either like this, or end to end (there’s one Bee who has a BEAUTIFUL antique emerald-cut diamond with tapered baguettes, and she wears a band with emerald cut stones set end on end).

And of course the band with straight and tapered baguettes that’s already been mentioned! I think this is beautiful on others, but a little overpowering on my own hand.

I’ve tried quite a few bands and find I like the thin pave or engraved band the best. I’m not a huge fan of gaps, but I still love them together.

Do you mind me asking how many carats your ring is? I want something similar and think yours looks perfect. ๐Ÿ™‚

We are almost ring twins! My e-ring has squatter baguettes though. I went with a milgrain wedding band. I love it! Strawberryschmoo has something similar too.

I’m in a similar situation,  have trapezoid side stones tho, and Fiance is adamantly opposed to any sort of gap.  He wants to go custom to have something to fit, and I can get a separate ring if I ever want to wear just my wedding band.

Personally I’m not too fussed about it so whatever he wants is what I’ll end up with.
