Here is my set: e-ring is 2mm and wedding band is around 6mm I think. I wish I had of considered this more because I’m honestly thinking about resetting my e-ring to pair better with my wedding band. IMO, they probably don’t need to match perfectly, but if I had my time over I’d have made sure I disn’t go thicker than maybe 4-5mm?

I went with a rather smaller wedding band that is half paved ! My engagement ring band is about 2mm width and the stone is 5,5mm, but I personally didn’t wear jewelry before my e-ring so I wanted a set that wasn’t too big !

Ha, I got both a pave band and a plain band! I’ll wear all 3 to work/dates, the plain band 24/7, and the plain band and pave band when I travel and want something low maintenance.

My engagement ring is 1.7 mm, the pave band is 2.3 mm, and the plain band is 2 mm. I like the look of a slightly wider band!

Not officially wearing these yet, but I was allowed to try them on! We ordered the band at the same time from the same company (Provence Gems). Originally the twisty band was wider, but I asked for it to be smaller since I have short fingers. They are both 2mm paved. I also plan on finding a smaller plain platinum band to put either in between or on the other side of my e-ring, probably 1.5mm or smaller if I can find it.

If I remember right, e-ring is 2mm and wedding band is 2.3mm!

I’ve shared mine a few times but here it is- my engagement ring is 1.7 and band is about 3mm (possibly slightly less). I liked the look of the thicker band and I also like having a slightly more substantial band when I wear my band alone (to work, to run, sometimes traveling or the beach)

My wedding band is 3mm, middle band is 2.5mm and engagement ring is 2mm. I really like different width bands. I think it makes it more interesting.

I went with a thicker band at 3mm and I don’t regret it. It looks great with my ering or alone.

futuremrsmoore :  mine is the opposite, my ering is much larger than my wedding band but at the end point the ering tapers to about 2mm larger than the band itself.

I’m debating the same thing as you – whether to get a pave or plain band to go with my plain band solitaire e-ring. I may get both – I found a plain band I like for $90 so it’s not like it’s tons more money. My e-ring band is 1.8 mm, and if I get either pave or plain it will be 2 mm, so not much difference.

I also have a plain ering and a diamond wedding band. I love the look!
