We’re having an outdoor reception in my parents’ backyard, and I’d kind of like to do something a bit different for napkins… so I was thinking of maybe buying some solid-colored bandanas and stamping them with a stamp that we’ve been using on some of our paper product.
Has anyone ever tried anything like this? Does anyone know a good place to get a few dozen bandanas? Is this just generally a bad idea?

That sounds like a cute idea, but those things are not absorbent at all… spills and such would not be easily cleaned. I’d say order some first and try them out and see how it goes!

I think it’s a cute idea, but I agree that you should do a test run first, just to make sure they work!
Oh, and when I read the title of this post for some reason I read it as “bananas for napkins” and I was VERY intrigued

@amonda.lynn: Bananas for napkins would be interesting… to say the least!
I hadn’t thought about how absorbent they might (not) be… That’s a good point.
