This is what I ended up doing.  I didnt like the curved bands or the gap that straight bands gave.  This still gives a gap but looks more intentional to me.

I do have a gap but I don’t mind it. Also I don’t consider my stone to be large but some might so I thought it may help. It’s a 2 carat round solitaire with a .70 ctw 7 stone band

I don’t have a gap but here’s my 3.02 cushion cut plus halo with my bands!  I think a diamond band would look great with your e ring.

Just got my band today! I also have a gap but don’t mind it at all. Please excuse the nails-long week at work

This isn’t my wedding band. Though a sterling silver version I got to play with to ensure that was the style I wanted 😊

I also have an antique ring. Yours is beautiful.

I like plain bands but with the gap it didn’t look right. This one seemed to work.

I don’t mind a bit of a gap, as long as it’s not huge. And I personally prefer a smaller diamond band with the larger solitaires. FWIW, solitaire is a 2.1 carat and I have no idea what the band is haha

We chose a plain band because we wanted to have the same and get more importance to my diamond instead of my wedding band. But diamond band is lovely too.
