I’m not sure what to do with mine either!  I’m growning them just in case, but I’m about ready to throw in the towel.  I wish their were more pics of updos with bangs on the Knot, etc.  At least some of the stars have been sporting them on the red carpets.

I think bangs are super cute, I’ve been thinking of getting some for the wedding day. The only thing I would say is that if you’re planning on dancing a lot, the bangs will be the first things to start looking ratty if your forehead sweats at all. That’d be my only worry, but I think they look so cute in an updo!

I have bangs and short hair, and I wore my hair in finger waves for my wedding. I had the bangs shellacked off to the side. My bangs can get sweaty/greasy, and I didn’t want to risk that for wedding pictures.

I didn’t grow them out. If you’re wearing the rest of your hair up or wearing your hair down in a style where the rest of your hair will have product, it’s an option to not grow them but to also not have them loose for the wedding.

I’ve got bangs as well and I’m worried about the same thing. I’m not sure how I’m going to work them in but I definitely look better with bangs. I’ll see what my hairdresser says.

Depending on how the rest of your hair is and how your bangs are, this might work…

i wash my whole head every couple of days, but my bangs get greasier faster, so, w/ the rest of my hair pulled back, I dampen and shampoo just them.  They dry in just a minute.  One turn under w/ the curling iron, and they’re good all day  You could have and emergency bang kit to take to the loo if you needed to refresh.

That said…By the time you’re having enough fun to sweat, most pics have probably already been snapped, and everyone else will be half (or whole) drunk with their own sweaty foreheads and getting their groove on with you.  In the eyes of all around you, you’ll most likely look like an amazing bride having the time of her life and even you won’t care if your bangs are a little wilted.
