I’ve had side-swept bangs for about 8 years but recently have started to get sick of them. I haven’t gotten them cut for a little while and am trying to decide if I should just keep growing them out for the wedding/in general or if I should cut them again and just keep cutting until the wedding (which is a little less than a year away). For reference, here is a a photo of my hair (please note my awesome photoshopping skills. I should really be a professional!) It’s a little longer than that now and I’m trying to grow it out for the wedding.
Photos of wedding hairstyles with and without bangs are welcome!!!

@coffeeeeee: I think that a lot of formal updos lend themselves well to a look without bangs. Formal hairstyles can look good with bangs, but only if the person has really thick hair. One of the advantages to not having bangs is that your hair blends with the rest and gives it a thicker appearance than when you have bange, imho.

@Cappugcino: That makes a lot of sense. I think i”m going to keep growing them. and just keep them pinned back so they stop annoying me so much!

Yes! Grow them out and see how you feel! You can always cut them later – unlike growing them 🙂

I have side swept bangs but I have layers as well, so my bangs blend right into my hair and my hair frames my face. Like So
