I am going to the salon tonight. I have been contemplating having bangs cut into my hair, but am still unsure. I pinned up some “faux bangs” this afternoon and took a couple of pictures to try to figure out what I want to do. Please excuse the weird facial expressions in these horrible cell phone pictures :/ What do you think?
With (faux) bangs
Without bangs (current)

Honestly, you can go either way…but since you can rock the bangs, why not go for it?

I don’t knowwwwwwwwww. I always say no bangs because I end up regretting it and they take for. ev. er. to grow out.

It’s probably because your bangs are just mocked up, but I think you look better without! Also totally agree with daybyday that once you get them cut, you either have to maintain maintain maintain or else wait forever for them to grow out while they enter that awkward period of not short enough/not long enough!

I really like the look of bangs… but everytime I get them I end up growing them out again. Have you had them before?
If your hair is reletively easy to style, and not too wavy or frizzy, I would say go for it.
Reasons I don’t wear bangs:
– My hair grows super fast and needs very frequent trims
– My hair is stubbornly wavy toward one side of my head, and unless I straighten them the bangs stick out on that side.
– My forehead breaks out a lot when I have bangs
– My Fiance prefers me without them, and they are too high maintenence for me to care about keeping them.

I think some side wept bangs would give a lot of style to your hair without sacrificing length.
I have a biased bob and I get bangs now and again. My hair is thin and there’s not a ton I can do with it. I actually like the way they look growing out, swept to the side.

So what did you decide on?!!

You could definitely pull them off, but I voted no because I personally hate maintenance of bangs! I always thikn getting them is a good idea and then I hate having to deal with them and they take forever to grow out!
