Hello Bees! So we booked our venue (a historical mansion/gallery) because we were totally in love with it. The problem is that it has one giant room for dinner and dancing, but the bar is located in a separate room altogether.
I know people tend to crowd around the bar and adjoining lounge areas, and I REALLY want to prevent a kitchen party from forming in the separate room while the dance floor is left empty–or having essentially two different parties.
Any tips on how to do this? A mobile bar in the main hall is not an option. I was thinking of maybe having a photobooth in the main hall to keep people congregating there. Or games? Or maybe if my fiance and I try to stay near the dancefloor, would it encourage people to mingle away in one room? Thanks for your tips!
