This is sort of a long shot posting this question here but I can’t find anything on the subject online.
Has anyone taken both of these classes? What’s the difference between them? Which did you like better?
I’ve taken Bar Method once or twice but I’m thinking of starting classes at cardio barre because they are significantly cheaper. Just wanted to know if the classes are very different or basically the same.

@Meowkers: I’ve taken both of these classes at my local Barre studio. In the regular Barre class we hold the poses longer and do higher reps – squats, plies (sp?) hydrants and upper body work.
The Cardio class is a bit faster paced – more side lunges, free weights (we use weight balls), and slightly less bar work. I actually prefer the regular Barre classes to the cardio class because I prefer a stronger strenght training workout. I feel like I can do the cardio on my own.
It might vary by studio, but this is what I notiiced in my classes.
