Thanks! I’m going to start doing online searches right away.
Very nice. I’m looking for something a little more formal, though.
I LOVE the 3rd dress that you shared, but you it’s only available online and so I wouldn’t be able to try it on first. 🙁
Thanks everyone for the DB tips! I’m definitely going to try them out.
Jim Hjelm is my favorite designer so far if that gives you an idea of what type of dress I’m dreaming of. Here’s a pic of my favorite (although I’d love it more in mermaid style). BUT, there is no way that I’d spend 4k on a dress.

I also think DB, a sample, or a used dress would be your best bet. I also love lace but when I went shopping at a bridal boutique, most of the lace gowns were over $1500.
DB definitely has some nice ones, but the lace probably won’t be just like the Jim Hjelm quality. For that, you might want to look into places that sell marked down designer samples.
I actually got my veil at a high-end bridal consignment shop that sold designer dresses–you should see if there are any in your area! You can get a preowned dress and still try it on.

Since this store is outside the State of Florida, I would recommend looking for a bridal stora that carried this dress and try it on. It looks very similar to the dress you posted….at least the back does and it’s gorgeous (plus below $750!).
