Have you tried emailing them? I’ve talked to them before by email. It’s a gorgeous venue, we shot a wedding there in 2011 and loved it!

@bride007:  Hmm.. I thought I am the only one that have that problem. I have emailed them yesterday and still waiting for a reply (it is weekend anyway). Could you please let me know if you can contact them or not? Thanks

@bride007:  date twin! ๐Ÿ™‚ I checked them out and it was $2500 for Friday through Sunday. But when I called in the summer the number worked…:/ good luck!

@seabunny:  hi seabunny, just being curious, have you called them lately? Can they be contacted through email too? Also, do they provide tent, chairs, and tables?

@lleello:  no, it was July when I last spoke to the owner. No tent, but they did have tables and chairs but they were very basic, nothing fancy. But the owner was very easy going, nice guy.

@seabunny:  I see.. Sorry, I was just being anxious.. The contact person of my first venue suddenly couldn’t be contacted for a few months, then we just got news from her that the venue can’t be used for our wedding anymore. Now we have to look for a new one, frantically…

The disconnected phone call kind of scares me because of that. So I just want to know if you have lately (like in the last week or so) contacted the Barn or not.

I had the same issue and was finally put in touch with him. Apparently the previous owner passed away in November. Shane has been an employee there for 5 years.

 

Of course, I left him a voicemail two days ago and haven’t heard back…but last time it took a few days, too.

 

Good luck! I am planning a September or October wedding there – just gotta pick between two dates. ๐Ÿ™‚
