I’ve seen other posts like this (well one, with only one reply)…
I’m searching and searching for a barn, farm, something rustic to get married in. I have found one and they are booked until 2015 and I’m not sure they’ll even do them after that. I have found some amazingly beautiful venue’s farther away than I’d like. Shoot, I might just settle for something stuck out in nowhere lol. I’m up for a change of heart if someone knows of a good place we can “country up” with our mason jars and wheat centerpieces… I’m just really getting discouraged that I’ll never find a good place…. any help is good help 🙂 Thanks guys!

hmm…I’m in St. Louis, but I went to school at Mizzou so I can imagine the trouble you’re having. There are a few places in Springfield/Branson, which is obviousy further away.
There’s the pavilion at Stephen’s Park in Columbia – judging from the website it looks a little rustic (and it’s pretty cheap!). I wonder if you can rent out the barn that the corn maze people have (off 70)? A google search brought up Mockingbird Hill on some photographers websites, but I can’t find a website.
Hope this helps!

Have you found a place yet? We got married at Camp Hickory Hill here in Columbia and the place is awesome.
