Hello 🙂
I was wondering if anyone has experience with using chalk paint on mason jars so guests are able to write their names on them! I was worried that with condensation that the chalk paint my rub off of the jar. Is it better to use chalk lables? I know to use a waterproof chalk pen to write on the chalk paint.
Thanks!!

I’ve never actually painted mason jars with chalk paint, but I have used the chalk labels on mason jars for several bridal and baby showers I’ve helped throw. I live in the south, we love our mason jars here! lol The chalk labels work great and are super inexpensive.
If you really want to try painting on, why not make a few for your household and use them your coffee or morning smoothie(or whatever beverage you drink a lot!)) and see how it holds up. Good luck, bee!

kmack09 : My SIL used a chalk sticker to put on mason jars w/ handles. She wrote everyone’s name on them and used it as their place card at the table – and then it doubled as their cup & favor.
